SF Executive have been retained by a private equity backed manufacturing business in Sussex to find a commercial and communicative Chief Financial Officer.
The business in question has turnover of c£20m and delivers above average EBITDA margins thanks to the unique market this company serves.
As right hand to the CEO, you will cover the following -
- Ensure effective cash management & forecasting processes
- Monitor compliance with governance & reporting requirements
- Review & improve budget, forecast & business planning processes identifying best practice and satisfying group requirements
- Review of plant financials & systems
- Oversee bank and investor relationships
- Financial review of key commercial and strategic initiatives - key contract negotiations, capital expenditure, pricing proposals, acquisitions.
- Acquisitions - identify opportunities, due diligence and post-acquisition integration
You will be a qualified accountant and probably already be working within a standalone manufacturing business although we would consider manufacturing candidates with a blue chip background who are looking for that first break into private equity.
You will be proactive, personable, calm under pressure, and focused on results whilst also leading by example to inspire the team to achieve their objectives
