Job Title: FinTech CTO (Chief Technology Officer)

Location: London (Hybrid)

We are looking for a CTO to join our client's team in London. You will be critical in driving the technological vision, strategy, and execution of the company. Whilst playing a pivotal role in shaping the company's overall direction and growth through technology innovation and implementation.

As the FinTech CTO, you will be responsible for leading the technology strategy and driving the development and implementation of innovative solutions. You will play a crucial role in shaping the technical roadmap, overseeing the software development lifecycle, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and secure products. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the FinTech landscape, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for leveraging technology to transform the financial industry.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the technology vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Lead and manage a team of talented engineers and technical professionals, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Drive the end-to-end software development process, from conceptualization and design to development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Ensure the use of best practices, efficient development methodologies, and adherence to industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product management, design, data science, and operations, to deliver seamless, user-centric products and services.
Stay abreast of emerging technologies, industry trends, and competitive landscapes to identify new opportunities and potential risks.
Manage the technology budget, resources, and vendor relationships effectively.
Foster a culture of security and privacy, implementing robust measures to protect customer data and maintain compliance.Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. A strong technical background is essential.
Proven experience as a CTO, Technical Director, or similar leadership role in the FinTech or financial services industry.
Extensive knowledge of FinTech products, services, and regulatory frameworks.
Demonstrated experience in leading and managing software development teams, driving innovation, and delivering successful products.
Expertise in software development methodologies, architecture, and design patterns.
Strong understanding of cloud computing, APIs, microservices, and modern software development practices.
Solid knowledge of cybersecurity, data protection, and privacy practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
Proven ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment and manage multiple priorities.How to Apply:
