Job Details

We are looking for a strong Project Manager/Lead who has been through the full cycle of HRIS implementations on multiple occasions. You will most likely be office based 3 days a week with one day at the Southampton office and the other two either in London or Southampton as the project is critical to the Exco.

Client Details

Our client is a professional services firm who operate within financial services, investments and related industries. They are embarking on a rapid period of growth - locally and abroad and are therefore significantly investing in their internal systems, processes and technologies.

As a result, they are implementing a new HR system and need a strong Project Manager to help through the entire project life cycle.

Description

Working closely with the CPO and Transformation Director, the Project Manager/Lead is responsible for leading a major HR transformation project through close collaboration with the multiple stakeholders in the Senior Leadership Team.

The Transformation agenda is significant. It will incorporate operating model redesign so key responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation of a detailed business case advocating the HR system which will best fit the project brief (and budget)
  • Detailed project plan scoping including the HR systems, associated process changes, allocation of responsibilities and resources,
  • Process change mapping and modelling and subsequent improvement and process design,
  • HR systems configuration,
  • Ensuring the highest level of data standards, reporting and analytics,
  • Leading on change adoption, planning and delivery.

Profile

We are looking for a strong Project Manager who has been through the full cycle of HRIS implementations on multiple occasions. You will most likely be office based 3 days a week with one day at the Southampton office and the other two either in London or Southampton.

Key requirements include:

  • PM accreditation (Prince/APM etc). Ideally Agile too
  • Multiple HR systems implementations ideally within SMEs. Our client is at the early stages of their Transformation so have not yet decided which system they will go with hence a real opportunity to help advise
  • Demonstrable ability to plan, manage and successfully implement a cloud-based HR System
  • Ability to analyse complex business problems, identify options and implement solutions
  • Manage vendors throughout the project lifecycle from engagement through to completion
  • Excellent process design & project governance
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills and experience of managing Exco members
  • A focus on taking the organisation through a journey and working collaboratively
