Entity Director/DPO (oher more junior positions available)

Mission

To guide the business towards the strategic vision defined by the Core Team. The Entity Director is accountable for achieving the defined objectives and is involved in all areas of business management (ie, people, finance, sales) for the Entity. S/he represents the company locally to the public or other organizations.

Main tasks

  • Define the Entity's development plan, aligned with the strategic vision defined by the Core Team, in collaboration with the CDO
  • Oversee all aspects of and/or be involved in the Entity's day-to-day activities, including Facilities/Office Management
  • Perform an annual SWOT analysis for the Entity (and give input to the Global SWOT), identifying items that could impact the Entity
  • Provide feedback to the Core Team (via the CDO) regarding local regulations that could significantly impact the Entity's activities
  • Provide feedback to the Core Team (via the HRD) regarding local HR regulations that could significantly impact the Entity's activities

People Management

  • Supervise the Office Manager and Personal Development Leaders (PDL's) when applicable
  • Collaborate with HR and relevant Core Team members to ensure selection, hiring and dismissal of Entity staff as relevant to the activities and overall strategy
  • Interact with HR to ensure that their actions are adequate in relation to needs, eg, regarding local regulations
  • Manage people risks and oversee career development for Entity staff members.
  • Organise and/or oversee, in collaboration with the Office Manager and PDL's (if applicable), regular social and/or team building events

Budget Management

  • Contribute, in collaboration with the Core Team as relevant to the creation of provisional Entity budget
  • Monitor the Entity budget (including turnover, direct and indirect costs)
  • Take action to address concerns as necessary, in collaboration with the Core Team
  • Monitor, review and approve regular domestic bank transfers and expenses

Operational Management

  • Monitor TIM Completion Rate, Accuracy and Production Rate of Operational (Ops/Leg) Entity staff members
  • Continuously assess the training needs of Entity staff members and suggest actions to improve it
  • Supervise and participate in the implementation of company Culture, Values and procedures locally
  • Supervise service/project delivery by Entity staff members and provide feedback to the COO if this has a significant impact on the Entity's activity
