Head of Planning - Manufacturing - Liverpool

Client Details

My client is a known brand with a strong market presence in the UK and Europe. They have a number of operations within the UK, Liverpool being the largest site. The organisation is evolving to ensure they maintain and grow market share. The addition of the Head of Planning will support its focus on building an agile supply chain that can react to future growth.

Description

As the Head of Planning you will:

• Lead, engage, and support the Liverpool planning teams (Supply / Production / Demand / Inventory) on the Liverpool site. This will include providing development plans building capability
• Build relationships with Operations and Sales to support overall customer satisfaction. This role will support the S&OP process and help develop the right behaviours and understanding to ensure its sustainable
• Take responsibility for systems and data integrity to reduce transactional activity and build confidence in the decisions made as a result
• Work with Operations / Production to understand the site capacity and introduce new ways of working to unlock additional capacity, and remove bottlenecks
• Contribute to the senior leadership team to help deliver overall business objectives

Profile

The ideal candidate will be:

• Already a Head of Planning within a fast paced manufacturing environment and proven in Supply / Production / Demand planning
• A capable leader with a track record of developing talent
• Comfortable to contribute to the site strategy
• Proven in inventory reduction programs
• Demonstrate the ability to influence and encourage the right behaviours to support a successful S&OP

Job Offer

c £70,000 to £75,000 + package
