Job Details

Communicate have partnered with a FTSE 250 Professional Services Company based in London, who are looking for an experienced Group Financial Controller, who will be responsible for the financial management of the company. The successful candidate will work closely with the executive team (CFO and CEO) and manage accurate, timely and best-in-class processes and controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Finance team and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
  • Provide key financial analysis, insights and recommendations to the Board and Group Executives.
  • Ensure strong financial controls are in place, and lead improvement initiatives as necessary.
  • Prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports to company executives.
  • Manage the company budget and forecast processes.
  • Oversee tax compliance and risk management for the company.
  • Develop the finance team's capabilities and coordinate the hiring process for team members as necessary.
  • Act as a key point of contact for external audit, banks and investors.

Requirements:

  • Extensive professional accounting experience, with recent years in a management role.
  • Experience working in a FTSE 250 or equivalent sized company is essential.
  • Chartered accountant (ACA / ACCA) with proven leadership skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong team player with excellent people management skills.
