My client, based in Sheffield, are a successful and growing metals recycling business. With a new site coming to South Yorkshire the company is looking for a Site Operations Manager to help growth across metals sourcing, recycling and processing.

Description

The Site Operations Manager will oversee all site operations for the new plant, including:

• Recruiting, training and developing your own team
• Setting up new site facilities to maximise productivity
• Managing all machinery, vehicles and equipment - ensuring this is maintained appropriately
• Maintaining relationships with suppliers and customers
• Ensuring all activities are carried out in a safe manner, working closely with H&S

Profile

Successful candidates will have a strong metals recycling background and will possess:

• An understanding of ferrous and non-ferrous material
• A background of operations management within a relevant industry
• Experience of managing and developing a team
• Knowledge of processing layouts and maximising productivity
• Commercial acumen

Job Offer
