IT Vice President Digital Commerce

Our customer based in Spain have just started a search for a VP or Senior Programme Director with E-commerce experience.

Digital Commerce at the customer accounts for sixty percent of overall revenue. With a strong focus on digital transformation over the next 3-5 years, Digital Commerce will be consolidating our fragmented technology landscape with a single B2B eCommerce platform, empowering customers by providing a set of industry leading self-service capabilities and creating a frictionless purchase experience.

The IT VP of Digital Commerce will be responsible for defining the end-to-end technical vision for transforming the business from (1) On-Premise to a Container Cloud eCommerce Platform, (2) Waterfall to Agile Delivery, (3) SysOps to DevOps Build and Deploy Automation, and (4) Project to Platform Product Team Model. This role will lead a global development organization of more than 100 software engineers, technical leads, and architects with focus on modernizing the platform first in Europe and Asia-Pacific, with Americas as a later follow on.

As IT VP you will have two technically focused Directors reporting directly to you, and more than 100 other staff including Architects, Tech Leads and Engineers.

the role will be 70% IT focussed with 30 % Business Strategy

This role comes with an excellent package:

160,000 - 180,000 salary

30% Bonus, mostly based on company performance. In the last few years the company have paid 98-100% of the bonus plus in 2021 it was over 30%.
