My client, a listed financial services group that operates across 14 markets, is seeking to hire a Group Chief Information Officer on a permanent basis, with the group having experienced exceptional group in their US and European markets over the last three years.
Reporting to the CEO, you will be a member of the executive management team, a controlled function holder and be accountable for the Group’s Global Information Technology, including Data, Digital, Platforms, Applications and Analytics.
As the incoming CIO, you will work with the board and other senior stakeholders to deliver an innovative and collaborative technological vision across the business. The main areas of focus for the role will centre around:
- The implementation of digital customer-centric initiatives that will improve customer experience Data and digital platform transformation IT risk and governance transformation Establishing a high-performance IT team, which will involve upskilling current personnel and recruiting for external expertise across data science, governance, architecture and engineering and embedding new hires into these functions.
Applicants will need to have worked as a Group CIO in the past and must have experience of having worked in a highly regulated, financial services group previously.
Lastly, the business has a values-led and progressive culture, and any candidate in addition to being a visionary and solutions-driven CIO must be able to demonstrate success within teams they have built, being mindful of diversity, equality and inclusion.
The Group is headquartered in the UK. This role could be based in either New York, London or Frankfurt, as the organisation has technology hubs in all of these locations.
