Two Delivery Managers with networking backgrounds are required for initial 6 month contracts with a UK utilities distributor & provider.

Client Details

A well known UK utilities distributor and provider are working on a number of projects that they require to be delivered across their network and as such require resource to join the current team of Delivery Managers over the next 6 - 12 months.

Description

In this role you will provide effective support on the design, planning, maintenance, support and cost effectiveness of the operational Telecom infrastructure to the Strategic Telecom Manager.

You will act as the delivery and detailed design authority on behalf of internal customers and liaise with Telecom service providers to deliver their business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Respond to internal stakeholder queries and progress with service providers
• Review Design responses provided by service providers
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of Telecoms Projects
• Ensure works are completed to the correct SP Energy Networks Standards in a cost effective and timely manner
• Report on budgetary requirements including forecasting

Profile

We are looking for individuals with experience in managing a utility sector internal operational telecom network, with proven experience and expert knowledge. You will also possess good inter-personal and communication skills and the ability to form effective working relationships with other departments / businesses, as well as:

• Experience of managing budgets and/or program management of a number of projects.
• Preferably experienced in managing third party contractors
• Preferably Prince 2 or similar accredited
• Experienced in the operation of internal Telecom Networks

Job Offer

An initial 6 month contract (inside IR35) with room for extension.
