Head of Marketing - GBP70-90K plus Bonus - (Hybrid - 1-2 days a week in Hampshire office)
THE COMPANY
My client is an exciting B2B tech business that focuses on targeting large enterprise in the most part - their customer engagement software brings global matrixed organisations together.
With offices in 12 countries, this business is growing fast!
THE ROLE
As Head of Marketing, this role is responsible for the development and execution of the brand's existing content-led, inbound marketing strategy. You will keep our clients, prospects and users of the platform at the heart of everything, offering thought leadership, product information and industry insights. This is an exciting, hands-on role, which will play a key part in supporting the future growth of the company.
Create, manage and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns, leveraging email, events, social and paid media to drive customer acquisition and build a robust pipeline of MQLs
Develop and manage the event calendar globally, from identification of appropriate opportunities, through to delivery and execution
Manage the in-house marketing team, ensuring a sustained focus on lead generation marketing activities Brief and oversee the work of internal and external suppliers such as designers, animators, copywriters and videographers
Work closely with our PR team to ultimately ensure clients know the brand
Analyse campaign data and results to drive improved performance
Create monthly reports containing robust descriptions of activity, suitable advice and recommendations and a clear summary of performance against the KPIs and metrics required
Work within a budget
Develop robust knowledge of all our products and services, our existing customer base and the prospect market
The Person:
You will have a minimum of 2 years' experience of working in a B2B tech environment, in a senior or 'Head Of' role
You will be an excellent project manager - comfortable working under pressure - and have strong organizational and planning skills
Excellent copywriting, editing and proof reading skills are essential, you will also have an excellent eye for detail
You will understand the best practices of the main social media channels, together which content and approaches work on each platform, and why
Experience of using HubSpot - or similar marketing automation platform - would be preferable but not essential
Experience of line-managing people, and mentoring/developing junior team members
