A high growth Investment Bank are seeking an experienced Head of Regulatory Reporting to join their London Branch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, regulatory reporting, and management.

As the Head of Regulatory Reporting, you will be responsible for overseeing the bank's BAU regulatory reporting processes and ensuring that all necessary reports are filed accurately and on time. You will work closely with various teams within the bank, including risk, finance, and compliance, to ensure that all regulatory requirements are met.

In this role, you will also be responsible for leading and managing a team of regulatory reporting professionals, including setting goals and objectives, providing ongoing support and mentorship, and ensuring that team members have the necessary skills and resources to succeed.

Additionally, there will be responsibility to oversee various projects and ad-hoc work outside of the regular reporting processes.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for submission of all internal and external regulatory returns to group, the Bank of England, the Financial Conduct Authority, the Prudential Conduct Authority.
• Management of one person currently with responsibility for recruitment and training as the team grows in future
• Build strong working relationships with colleagues in other relevant functions.
• Input into systems work, projects and change initiatives
  • Implementation of regulatory controls and processes
  • Understanding of impact of regulatory changes on business and systems

Requirements:

• Experience of PRA and FCA reporting within a Banking environment
• Track record of leading a developing a team within accounting/regulatory reporting
• Understanding of an investment banking environment and products
• Knowledge of multi-currency accounting
• Ability to partner with senior and external stakeholders including senior management, auditors and regulators.
• Strategic thinker, with an adaptable approach able to meet the needs of a high-growth business.
