Communicate have recently partnered with a low volume, high cost Manufacturer in the Southern Home Counties in their search for a Director of Commercial Finance.
The business has recently diversified their portfolio and made a real step towards being sustainable and introducing an ESG scheme, and as such both demand and growth opportunity has increased. This growth has meant that the CFO is looking to bring in an impressive, proven Finance Director to head up the team. With a turnover of circa £500 million, our client is a heavy-sector Manufacturer that operates globally.
The organisation is currently seeking an experienced FP&A/Commercial Finance lead to offer strategic business support and develop finance into a true Business Partner within the organisation.
You will be responsible for all aspects of Strategy. Commercial Finance, Business Partnering, as well as the annual budget, forecast, and three-year strategic review process. You will have experience with the management of senior stakeholders and finance members, extensive business partnering experience with a forward focused mind-set.
A qualified accountant (ACA Big 4 / CIMA) with substantial Manufacturing experience would be preferred. You'll have experience in a senior FP&A/Commercial Finance role at a comparable organisation and be seeking an autonomous role in a highly dynamic and fast-moving firm that wants to build up a best-in-class finance unit.
Experience / Qualifications:
- ACA/CIMA qualified with significant PQE
- Extensive exposure to / career spent in large Manufacturing companies
- Worked in Senior FP&A / Commercial Finance roles within large, recognisable corporates
- A proven track record and enthusiasm for building out finance teams
