ACCOUNTABILITIES

Provide value added, commercially focused finance business partnering service for Global Logistics

Review the processes and systems involved in the collection of logistics costs masterdata

Improve the quality and integrity of masterdata

Improve/build the reports/systems/interfaces to enable timely and accurate review of Logistics costs

Ensure periodical reviews are held with Logistics Team to explore actual costs against forecasts, and ensure variances are explained and understood

Define, validate and implement savings methodology for Logistics costs

Ensure correct application of Group policies and standards to reporting processes are adopted and provide advice and guidance where required

Provide high quality financial information and advice to the Heads of Logistic and SNO Finance

Support all Global Logistics and Supply Network Design projects and any ad-hoc requests

EXPERIENCE , SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE

Previous roles with demonstrated ability to influence without authority in a matrixial organisation

Experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment

Thorough understanding and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems (SAP/BPC)

Critical Thinking, fact oriented, Data Analytics skills, strong abilities with Excel and Power BI

Strong Influencing, leadership and interpersonal skills

Experience in strategic analysis & planning and execution, performance metrics, project evaluation

Ability to simplify complex situations and synthesize, communicate and present complex information

Insightful, comfortable with ambiguity and uncertainty, pro-active, collaborative and consultative

Innovation mindset, ability to match customer insights with supply chain and technology insights for accelerated problem solving

BENEFICIAL

Degree educated with relevant professional qualification (CA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA/MBA)

Previous experience of working in logistics finance is an advantage
