A market leading recycling manufacturing business are looking for an Operations Manager to join their highly sustainable complex process site in Merseyside

Client Details

The company are a niche chemical process manufacturer based around the production of sustainable recycled product used by brands known around the world. The business have a specialist process that involves complex chemical process and being part of a larger group offer opportunities for career progression.

Description

Reporting to the Site Manager the Operations Manager will be responsible for ensuring the safe production and running of the plant. The role will work closely with other functions on site, including HSE, Quality, engineering and technical as well as supply chain The Operations Manager will lead a team ensuring motivation, training, coaching and development so they can perform to the highest level. You will analyse production data and make informed decisions around down time, cost variations and quality.

Profile

The ideal candidate will be degree qualified in Chemical, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. They will have strong leadership capabilities and ability to solve complex process manufacturing challenges. You will have an understanding of process safety and hold a NEBOSH qualification.
