CEO PE Backed Manufacturing business

Marks Sattin Executive Search are partnering with a PE Backed niche sector Manufacturing business based in the Midlands in their search for an ambitious and commercially driven Chief Executive Officer. In partnership with the PE House, the CEO will lead the design and execution of a strategy that will steer the business towards significant growth.

This role will involve planning, developing, and implementing a strategy to optimise the organisation's operational and fiscal performance, maximising profit in the short term and facilitating the desired long-term growth of the business. The responsibilities of this role will include enhancing capital metrics, designing a high-performance agenda, implementing strategies relating to all the executive decisions within the business, and building and maintaining strong working relationships with key stakeholders, including board members and investors.

The successful candidate will be a strategically minded, highly independent leader who can bring a new and bold perspective to maximise profitability and value for shareholders. The role will involve significant collaboration with the financial team, so could be a fantastic opportunity for a CEO with a background in finance, or for a current CFO with wider managerial experience who is looking to take on a new challenge.

The ideal candidate:

• Experience working in a Manufacturing business, ideally with experience in a PE backed business.
• Demonstrable experience in senior leadership positions.
• Deep understanding of the financial functions of a business - capable of designing a strategy that will maximise profitability.
• Personable and people focused leader, capable of getting along with colleagues across all areas of the team, in addition to shareholders and advisors.
• Skilled at identifying market opportunities and implementing changes accordingly within the business.
• Adaptable and innovative, with a strategic mindset.
