Package on offer to £115,000 base plus 30-60% bonus potential.

This is a hybrid working opportunity with 3 days expected in their City based offices.

Our client is a market leading Financial Technology (FinTech) business who are part of a FTSE100 household name organisation with a truly global footprint. They are going through an exciting period of development, and now seeking to bring a talented Finance Director into their organisation in a Senior Finance Business Partnering role who has a highly commercial mindset to support the leadership of 3 key segments of the business.

Role Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities
  • Responsible for providing financial support and analysis for the Trading & Banking Solutions business, most specifically as the key partner for the leaders of the Foreign Exchange, Investment Banking, and Analytics businesses (combined ~£800m revs)
  • Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge and understanding of key business drivers, including product portfolio, market context and competitive landscape
  • Analyse and interpret financial information pertaining to business performance, and communicate concisely and effectively to business partners
  • Challenge and makes recommendations with respect to performance against budget, budget setting and financial viability of new Functional initiatives
  • Assess strategic scenarios and model various transformation initiatives.
  • Raise key issues and performance intelligence to Head of Finance, driving increased visibility within the business when necessary

Qualifications & Experience
  • Degree (or equivalent) and/or relevant professional finance qualification (ACA/CIMA/ACCA)
  • 7-10 years plus relevant experience in Finance business partnering, including both sales/revenue and cost management exposure
  • Strong financial modelling and analysis skills are required
  • Ability to communicate confidently and effectively both in writing and verbally with senior non-finance business leaders is critical
  • Experience driving cross-functional teams via influence rather than direct management is a plus
  • A background consisting of recent experience working for large, global, highly complex businesses within either the Financial Services or SaaS/Technology industries
  • Experience working with global reporting lines is key
