Business Analyst with Quality Control - IT/Digital

My client a Global pharmaceuticals company is currently looking to recruit a Business Analyst with Quality Control experience within IT/Digital on a contract basis. This role is based in Ireland Dublin offices three times a week. This Business Analyst with IT/Digital Quality Control experience will identify, design and implement processes within the QC functional area for Operations & Quality globally.

Key responsibilities:

• Analyze and define requirements for delivering technology services in the Quality Control area to Quality business, in collaboration with business process experts and IT functions.
• Design and implement processes and supporting system solutions within a highly complex QC area.
• Identify, shape and together with business stakeholders prioritize further enhancements and/or gaps in existing functionality to existing QC IT capabilities and landscape in Quality Systems (including DQC systems like Empower, Labware, Binocs, Tetrascience, NetLab toolkit and others)
• Drive future invesments in QC area, including CAR preparation and planning future budget; develop project business case with business stakeholders and perform scoping assessments to determine feasibility and readiness
• Support QC strategic roadmap
• Manage vendors providing services in IT QC area and monitor vendor's performance.
• Develop comprehensive requirement specifications to determine the estimate of cost, time and resources to deploy QC solutions and liaise with the Product & Platform teams to suggest a high level functional solution
• Develop project estimates and complete Business case in collaboration with business (costs, savings, revenue opportunities, investment horizon, etc.)
• Ensure that relevant stakeholders are involved in specification of new services and/or major upgrades to existing services and that overall user experience is taken into account in the design
• Monitor adoption and usage of global QC solutions to ensure consistent usage of the solutions and value realization; propose adoption improvements and drive resolution of any adoption challenges in collaboration with other IT teams and business
• Address escalations and drive towards resolution in collaboration with other IT teams; manage stakeholder communication
• Support future Digital strategy and long-term roadmap in QC

Knowledge and Skills

• Business acumen: very good understanding of various worldwide laboratory setups and different technologies in QC
• Looks for signals both inside and outside the company to identify new trends and future expectations to set the goals of the future QC Digital strategy and build new capabilities
• Digital savvy: very good grasp of the impacts and opportunities processes, data and technology will create for the QC & Quality
