About Our Client
An inspiring past and a bright future
A home is the essential foundation for a good quality of life, so what we do every day really matters to the wellbeing of our communities. Here at Origin, we trace our roots back almost 100 years, building and managing high quality homes as well as providing support services and housing for those who are most vulnerable with a mixed portfolio of over 7,600 homes across London and Hertfordshire. We work to provide safe, decent affordable homes and support for individuals and communities.
Focused on our residents, our driving ambition is to provide services that make people's lives easier, and homes and communities they can be proud to live in. We are 'not for profit' and reinvest all our surpluses back into our varied and vibrant neighbourhoods.
Our core values are at the heart of how we work

You'll be responsible for running an efficient and responsive finance function, including financial planning, management reporting, external audit, funding, treasury, and income management, to effectively support delivery of our corporate goals and key strategies. In addition, you'll lead our forward-thinking technology, data and change functions. You will be building on success and joining an established, collaborative, and visible Executive Team, who are passionate and committed to further improve, develop and grow our organisation and maximise our social impact.
Provide strong leadership, empowering heads of service and their teams to achieve agreed standards of performance, compliance, efficiency, and service.
Maintain a high level of external focus; being aware of innovation and opportunities that can support, and risks that can challenge, the delivery of our strategic objectives.
Develop and sustain excellent relationships with key external stakeholders
Working with the wider Executive Team - scan the operating environment and horizon to ensure that the business remains up to date
Ensure that the Business Plan and associated business strategies are developed, resourced and achieved.
