Job Details
Communicate have collaborated with a PE-Backed e-learning business in their search for a Group Financial Controller. Following PE investment three years ago, the business has developed significantly across a number of regions.
The company is now in need of a first-class Controller to oversee all aspects of internal analysis, lead the advancement of the reporting team and oversee/manage the continued development of Budgeting, forecasting and modelling processes.
Reporting to the CFO you will be responsible for developing the controllership function of the business and building out your own reporting team. This role requires a strong technical candidate, with an eye to the commercial operations of the business.
Based in central London, on a hybrid basis, this role will be the next step for a candidate with excellent career trajectory and ambitions to advance within a growing business in an exciting industry.
Responsibilities Include:
- Consolidation of P&L, financial statements, monthly cash flows
- Oversee daily control of the business
- Provide strategic analysis to CFO and board members
- Major role in forecasting, budgeting and development of 3 and 5 year business plans
Qualifications / Experience Required:
- ACA/CIMA Qualified with significant PQE
- Extensive technical accounting knowledge
- A proven track record of leading teams, ranging from part-qual to senior post-qual staff
- Excellent Communication Skills
