About the Client: As a family-owned business, our client has 60 years' experience in the restoration and conversion of historic and listed buildings. This, combined with the sympathetic and complementary design of new properties around these nationally important heritage assets, has put them at the forefront of specialist property development.

About the Role: The Construction Project Director is responsible for overseeing the planning, design, and execution of construction projects. This includes managing budgets, schedules, and personnel, as well as ensuring that the project is completed on time and within budget.

Responsibilities;

* Develop project plans, including schedules, budgets, and personnel requirements

* Coordinate with architects, engineers, and other design professionals to ensure the project is completed according to plans and specifications

* Oversee the procurement of materials, equipment, and subcontractors

* Manage the construction team, including supervising on-site personnel and addressing any issues that arise

* Monitor the progress of the project and make adjustments as needed to stay on schedule and within budget

* Ensure that the project is completed according to safety and building codes

* Communicate regularly with the project owner and other stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field

* At least 5 years of experience in construction project management

* Knowledge of construction processes, including design, procurement, and execution

* Strong leadership and communication skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

* Familiarity with project management software and other tools for tracking budgets and schedules

* Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation
