POSITION OVERVIEW:

The System Integrations Project Manager is responsible for creating and managing a disciplined strategy and execution model for all system integrations, consolidations, upgrades and advancements. Position ensures such system initiatives and advancements successfully capture the desired related outcomes in the areas of the People, Processes and Customers including ongoing optimization.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Integrations Management

  • Gain and maintain a deep understanding of the company, the industry and the competitive landscape.
  • Develop due diligence checklist templates ensuring they acquire the needed information to integrate new partnerships into the system infrastructure portfolio.
  • Create detailed integration checklists and project plan templates that serve as the baseline roadmap tool for all integrations.
  • Partner with the executive team to identify the selected members of the integration team for each project/event and subsequently customize the plan.
  • Partner with the Business Units to help them develop standard process flows, integration procedures, critical/confidential document protection and change management strategies.
  • Lead the integration team as Project Manager so that all functional integration leaders understand their roles and responsibilities during the transition period.
  • Develop a reporting strategy and chair ongoing meetings for company integration reviews and status reporting.
  • Ensure project plan strategies properly address the company's key integration categories of People, Processes, Systems and Customers and that such plans are inclusive of:
    • Targeted objectives/end states.
    • Clear assignments, common formats for their outputs, disciplined timelines, coordinated meeting schedules, communication mechanisms and review processes.
    • Integration hierarchy, decision-making protocols, and escalation routes so problems requiring senior-level input can be quickly addressed and resolved.
    • Engagement of both sides so that the collective organization benefits from our combined knowledge and experience without getting mired down in politics and tradeoffs.
    • Appropriate methodology for measuring progress and holding people accountable for meeting our targeted objectives.
    • Consistent set of core messages both internally and externally.
    • Strategies for minimizing potential cultural clashes and ensuring our combined culture is equipped to meet our collective marketplace demands.
    • Documentation of any handoffs to leaders/managers at the end of the transition period.
    • Communication of integration completion (avoid the concept of a race without the finish line).
    • Capture lessons learned and recommendations for future corporate projects.

New System Implementations/Upgrades

  • Evaluate, install, configure and deploy new applications, systems software, products and/or enhancements to existing applications throughout the company.
  • Collaborate with system owners in the testing of software programs and applications.
  • Ensure any new system integrations into business systems meet functional requirements, system compliance and interface specifications.
  • Liaise with software suppliers and internal stakeholders to address issues in program logic and the interoperability of new applications with existing systems software.

System Optimization

  • Maintain key partnerships with each member of the executive team and their key personnel to ensure the best or most effective use system capabilities.
  • Serve as a Business Analyst for departments and units in the evaluating, planning and implementation of improvements in processes, reporting, practices and organizational effectiveness.
  • Identify, plan and implement key projects to improve data access/transparency and quality, reduce costs, increase productivity, improve cycle time, etc. resulting in significant business improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare monthly single page, visual, project and corporate integration scorecard reports to measure overall corporate integration status and integration status by corporate entity.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science or related field.
  • MBA, CPA, CFA or related degree/equivalent preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years related experience, specifically including business integrations and enhancement experience involving M&A and internal systems.
  • Certifications in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), Agile Scrum/Practitioner, CMM or Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
  • Salesforce, Sage 300 CRE, Office 365, Business Objects, Power BI, and/or ADP Workforce Now system experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to create and implement highly detailed project plans related to integrating businesses (infrastructure, systems, people); demonstrated ability to build trust and confidence amongst senior business leaders in the managing of such project plans.
  • Excellent communication skills, both in written and verbal form are critical.
  • Ability to work comfortably in a group/cross-functional setting, have excellent problem-solving skills, and have an ability to remain calm in the face of uncertainty, inspiring the same in collaborating personnel and prospective mergers and acquisitions.
  • Confident but approachable and likable individual who portrays a similar image of the business, hence inspiring trust from our national workforce.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail, excellent critical thinking skills, strong financial acumen and ability to work in a fast-paced environment; ability to prioritize among competing duties/projects.
  • Demonstrated skills in persuasion and consensus-building; excellent people skills, including interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Willingness to serve as not only a leader but a resource when needed to meet deadlines and ensure success.
  • Ability to perform project resource needs evaluations and staffing recommendations depending on required timelines and specific needs. Skilled at providing options for tuning project expectations and timing based on available resources.
  • Proven ability to work in an acquisitive, fast-paced Company with the ability to consistently meet tight deadlines and manage complexity.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential/proprietary information.
  • Ability to travel.
