The Board of Governors of Haileybury are pleased to invite applications for the role of Chief Financial Officer, to begin in post from September 2023.

Founded in 1862 and located within a 500-acre woodland campus in Hertfordshire, Haileybury is a leading co-educational boarding and day school for some 900 pupils aged 11-18. Haileybury empowers all of its pupils by combining academic learning with a rich co-curricular offering in a caring environment, underpinned by strong pastoral care. A Haileybury education is open-minded and forward-looking, preparing pupils for the very best universities and for life as successful global citizens.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the strategic development of Haileybury, under the leadership of the Master, Martin Collier. The Chief Financial Officer will lead the financial management of the School and will play an integral role in developing the School’s vision and long-term strategy. The role will be essential in ensuring the continued financial health, sustainability and development of the School and the successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with substantial team leadership experience. Furthermore, strong commercial acumen and outstanding communication and interpersonal skills will be essential.
