Head of Blockchain Development - £150,000 - £180,000 Basic Salary + Excellent Bonus + Equity Options - Fintech

Overview:
We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Blockchain Development to join a global software organisation. The successful candidate will have responsibility for multiple software development teams and will be the driving force behind the growth of the business in this area. The role demands significant technical knowledge and managerial experience.

This is not a hands on coding role, however you will be required to get involved at code level from time to time to help educate the team on best practice.

Role & Responsibilities:
Play a proactive role in proposing technologies, tools & approaches
Lead teams of developers/engineers, contributing to the overall Blockchain vision and roadmap
Work and collaborate with stakeholders both internal and external
Ensure adequate process control
Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues early

Experience Required:
Expertise and experience in leading teams in delivering products and projects in a variety of methodologies, with a particular focus on Scrum
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful projects / products throughout its lifecycle
Experience in working with various types of cryptography to secure data
Strong knowledge of Ethereum / other Blockchain platforms/technologies
Experience of developing solutions at scale in a complex multi-national organization
Experience with Blockchain architecture and applications, tokenisation and smart contracts, encryption, and various consensus
Senior stakeholder management skills
