Becoming the Head of Finance Data and Transformation with Smart DCC:

Amazing opportunity to secure an initial 6 months day rate contract as our Head of Finance Data and Transformation, based in London or potentially Manchester on a hybrid working model (2 days in the office, 3 days remote). The Head of Finance Data and Transformation will be our Finance Transformation Programme champion and lead on all aspects to ensure a smooth and successful delivery of the Finance programmes in progress at the moment.

What youll be doing:

Ownership of all DCC financial systems

Accountable for ensuring the relevant system changes are undertaken in a timely manner and for providing training to new and existing users of our BPC system and continue to provide ongoing support

Accountable for managing the relationship between DCC and relevant vendors.

Building strong relationships with all relevant internal customers and third parties

Champion the Finance Transformation Programme and lead on communication to ensure a smooth and successful delivery of the Finance roadmap to support the business vision.

Strong engagement with Senior Leaders, Procurement and IT to ensure we deploy the right solution and processes

What were looking for:

  • Extensive experience of delivering Finance transformational programmes at the highest level including system changes, improvements or implementations, tools or process programmes
  • Proven experience of managing deliverables to tight deadlines
  • Good understanding of process management, including mapping, documentation, optimisation design and implementation.
  • Strong stakeholder management, both internal and external to develop positive working relationships and ability to lead and work within a high performing team.
  • Ability to communicate effectively to direct and motivate the team and others, maintaining a persuasive and credible presentation style at all levels of the organisation.
  • Clear communicator who designs, implements and sees projects through to conclusion.

CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent
