Monarch are working with a large government organisation that are recruiting for an SC Cleared Engagement and Management Lead on an initial 6 month contract. This is a hybrid position with only 1 day on site in either London, Bristol or Manchester. The role falls inside IR35 and the day rate is GBP550.

Some of the responsibilities include:

Coordinate a workstream of improvements, working closely with service teams to create service improvement plans and oversee delivery against them.

Engage directly with service teams and with senior leaders, influencing their plans and activities for their digital services to align with agreed cross-government priorities.

Work closely with technical and analytical colleagues to ensure they have the data and connections needed to analyse service journeys and performance.

Deliver to the agreed goals, actively tackling impediments, risks and blockers, and communicating and escalating where necessary.

The skills and experience required:

Experience and knowledge of managing complex projects, including developing processes, engaging stakeholders, planning and supporting a team.

Experience and knowledge of complex strategic work to improve performance, with an ability to think strategically and bring clarity and structure to uncertainty.

Excellent quality in delivery and an ability to operate effectively and flexibly in a fast paced, political and complex environment.

Skills in establishing and maintaining excellent stakeholder relationships, and credibly engaging with and influencing senior leaders and external influencers.

Experience leading digital transformation projects.

Familiarity with the public sector and government processes.

Experience of agile delivery.

Understanding of service transformation.
