Description

Senior Category Manager (Non food)

  • Manage the non food spend across the company, including Crockery, printing & Stationary, Cleaning, Laundry, Uniforms, Maintenance, Chemicals, Waste, and Consumables.
  • Senior category manager will themselves own a number of categories to manage
  • Responsible for managing and forecasting inflation, through negotiation and identifying new sourcing and development opportunities by category
  • Deliver the successful negotiation and completion of contracts suitable for each category with clear KPIs identified to drive and deliver business and cost efficiency across the Group
  • Internal stakeholder management

Profile

  • Experience of buying all (or most) of these categories of spend in a previous role
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Proven track record of strategic procurement/category management
  • Prior experience managing people, or a desire to learn
  • Happy to be present in the London office 2-3 days a week
