IT Auditor ISACA (CISA) Risk Assessment East Suffolk Initial 3 months OR Part time for 50days work Remote GBP450-500/day OUTSIDE IR35
REED Technology are working with a client in East Suffolk who have a requirement for an IT Auditor to support on a few critical IT audits where progress is required before the new financial year. They are currently reviewing the annual span of their work which has highlighted four audits that need to be prioritised over the coming months.
The key requirements for this position will be to;
- Act as a critical friend to the IT Audit Manager to provide guidance and support
- Ensuring audits are delivering in line with the Public Sector Internal Audits Standards (2013)
- Ownership of the end to end auditing process including detailed scoping, field work, testing and reporting and assess the likelihood of their completion prior to the new financial year (2023/2024)
- IT Risk Assessment for one area of the combined organisations
- Cyber Security Assessment and Post implementation review (Agresso) for a separate part of the combined organisation.
- Ensured all work is documented in shared folders and live copies can be accessed and reviewed throughout the engagement
- Once scoping is complete and the key audits to be completed are agreed, provide effective planning, scheduling and detailed resourcing requirements for each audit
- Each requirement documented in line with PSIAS which enables repeat-ability of auditing
Key skills/experience/certification required;
- Knowledge and understanding of PSIAS
- Recent working experience within Public sector/Local government
- ISACA Certified Information System Auditor (CISA) or equivalent
