Description

Effective leadership and day-to-day management for the HSQE department and operational activities.
Plan, schedule, and review workloads to ensure output and on time delivery targets are achieved cost effectively.
Responsible for department budgets, preparing annual budgets and forecasts and providing business cases for all CAPEX and OPEX proposals.
Monitor, collate and interpret performance data including close out of inspections and accident investigation reports, and provide management reports on a routine basis.
Demonstrate and lead a process of continuous improvement within HSQE, ensuring that controls, measures are KPI's are in place and achieved within each area.
Ensure that Health & Safety and quality inspections are regularly conducted out to enable continuous improvement, in line with ISO or relevant standards.
Take ownership and responsibility for all company Quality, Accreditation and Compliance including ISO 9001, 14001, 18001 and compliance with relative BS certification.
Act as the first point of contact for government authorities and standards certification bodies.

Profile

Experience of leading HSQE teams
Implementing Health and Safety legislation, regulations, and guidance.
In-depth understanding of Quality, Sustainability and Environmental procedures.
Experience working in a Construction environment.
Prior experience of providing leadership and direction with emphasis on team building, displaying associated team and stakeholder skills.

CMIOSH or working towards

NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent

Full UK Driving licence

Candidates must pass a DBS check.
