We are partnered with an exciting sustainability start-up who have the opportunity for a CFO to join its leadership team. Working alongside the CEO and CTO, your role will be to lead and manage the growth of the company and ensure strategic milestones are met. Ideally, they are seeking a CFO with previous experience supporting another start-up environment.

The Role

The company is seeking a CFO to join the team, with the role of:
  • Working closely with the Chief Executive and CTO, to lead and manage the growth of the company and ensure strategic milestones are met
  • Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly and annual reporting
  • Offering key strategic advice and analysis in relation to expansion and effective growth strategy
  • Leading on operational management of the company, including legal, facilities and other operational areas in addition to the core financial management role
  • Preparing for and securing a further Series A investment round in 2023, to grow the company further
  • Managing Company Secretarial filings
  • Overseeing day to day business operations

Candidate Experience

The company is seeking candidates with:
  • Previous CFO experience within a Start up environment
  • Fully qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills
  • Previous experience of managing and developing staff
  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet strict deadlines
  • An enthusiasm for the company's mission of addressing plastic pollution, and interest in sustainability
  • An individual with a can-do attitude who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
