This £15m revenue manufacturing business based in Peterborough is on course to double turnover in the next 3 years. To help drive this growth they are looking for an experienced Finance Director to join their business, driving commercial growth while introducing process and controls.

The role

Sitting as part of an experienced leadership team, you will lead on all operational finance activities and strategic initiatives. You'll take control of a competent and stable finance team that will require commercial leadership through the day to day running of their production sites. Taking an operational lead to partner the Sales Director and support the Managing Director, you will maintain a robust process and control framework, and your responsibilities involve everything from strategic and operation leadership, through to the oversight of management and financial reporting.

About you

Manufacturing industry experience is essential
You will have a sound technical accounting knowledge from completing your ACA, ACCA or CIMA accounting qualification.
Ideally experience of working in a small to medium sized business to comprehend the full reporting process as well as demonstrating your operational exposure of working at various manufacturing facilities and product production.
Importantly you will act with natural leadership qualities and show your ability to come up with and lead on strategic initiatives whilst working with a range of colleagues across the business.

Package
