Reed Finance have been engaged by an early- stage funded electronics company. They are in the process of funding round and are now seeking their first CFO (Chief Financial Officer). You will become a lead part of the Senior Management Team.

This is an ideal role for a finance professional seeking their first step into a CFO/Finance Director role. You will take a key role in ensuring professionalisation of the finance function, ensuring strong and robust management information, manage relationships with investors and debt providers and ensure smooth transition from pre-revenue to a revenue generating business.

Your key responsibilities shall include:
  • Supporting the CEO with fund raising processes (Equity, Debt and Grants)
  • Implementing strong financial rigor and control, ensuring fit for purpose systems and processes
  • Develop internal reporting and build strong analysis, to facilitate greater viability of data to management enabling key decision making
  • Managing the production of monthly management accounts, reports to investors, debt providers and managing and statutory obligations
  • Ensuring management of working capital, cash management etc

To be considered for this role you shall be:

- Ideally an ACA Qualified Accountant or ACCA/CIMA and excellent academic background

- Have experience of working within either an Electronics, Deep Tech, or Manufacturing business

- Experience of implementing strong controls and procedures within a scale-up environment

- Strong experience of financial modelling and reporting to investors/banking partners

- Ideally experience within an VC or early stage funded business
