Bringing together the best and most motivated minds across the business, public and not-for-profit worlds, they seek out new ways in which we can all live in a decarbonised and sustainable economy and society.

With such amazing and urgent ambitions, they are looking to appoint an interim Chief Operating Officer as they pivot their business to a new, diverse funding and operating model.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the grant management team to transform the function into a critical business service for the organisation, reflecting its new and commercial operating model.
  • Design and enable the implementation of a new organisational-wide PMO function, with clear commitments and objectives.
  • Ensure close collaboration with between operations functions and other teams across the organisation.
  • Provide the oversight and vision for a long-term technology and digital strategy that delivers robust and commercial grant reporting.

Coming from an operations or grant management background, the successful candidate will have a strong track record in transformation programmes of complex yet agile businesses. Comfortable with delivering change through people, you will have a high level of emotional intelligence and focus on delivery through the coaching, empowering and enabling of your teams.

This role has been assessed as inside of IR35 and although if appointed, there may be travel to the London or other European offices for meetings, has a very flexible remote working policy.
