My Client are a growing Production and Logistics Business based in Gloucester

They run a busy operations covering the Logistics distribution and supply chain sector.

Description

The Warehouse Manager - Production Environment will be responsible for;

• Manage the logistics department as per company strategy

• Report on the logistics KPI's, quantities, labour hours and shipments

• Manage the administration of inbound and outbound movements including stock control

• Receiving / storage and BOM Building for Production units in the site

• Service Management, single point of contact for Carriers and Carrier Management

• Leadership & management of all logistics staff

• Deliver on customer commitments in terms of deliveries on time & in full

• Establish & manage a LEAN approach to Logistics

• Set and achieve cost targets / budgets to meet standard costs

• Install the ethos of continuous improvement

• Responsible for the safety behaviour and safety results of employees

Profile

The Warehouse Manager will have the following skills and experiences:

• A Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain background.
• Inventory and PI Count exposure
• A minimum of 3+ years Warehousing & Logistics management experience.
• Have managed in excess of 15+ heads indirectly previously.
• Experience in PHARMA/ MANUFACTURING/ Ecommerce/ Production environments will be considered advantageous.
• IOSH and NEBOSH qualifications - Advantageous.
• Have experience of LEAN methodologies.
• Experience on managing budgets.
• Have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Be results driven.
• Be commutable to Gloucester

Job Offer

The successful Warehouse Manager will receive;

Salary - £45,000 - £50,000
