HYBRID WORKING WITH AN EXCELLENT REWARDS PACKAGE

A leading Insurance Business in the UK is looking for a Business Analyst with experience in GI Home & Motor space to join them as part of the transformational changes but with hybrid working so max 1-2 days per week in the office.

THE ROLE:
This role is for a Business Analyst with experience in GI Home & Motor space to join them as part of the transformational changes in their Retail Insurance digital transformation programme.

This programme will be delivered through a combination of organisation, propositions, culture, process and technology changes that will come together to embody a new Retail insurance proposition. As a Business Analyst, you will notably support the Workstream Lead across a number of activities in driving the programme.

What you'll be doing:
  • Accurately and efficiently document business requirements and user stories.
  • Take ownership and responsibility to see problems through to conclusion.
  • Develop deep understanding of the business and actively contribute to the definition of the new proposition.
  • Work with key stakeholders across the organisation to understand requirements, analyse the as is, define and support the deployment of the to be.
  • Ensure programme progress, risks and issues are reported, documented, and escalated as required through appropriate governance channels.
  • Actively support progress on at least the following workstreams: product & proposition, finance and Back Office operations, business readiness and strategy.
  • Draft reports and presentations for both updates and sign-offs.
  • Actively track activities through to completion.
The successful candidate should have:
  • Degree level educated in relevant discipline.
  • Proven experience of working on large scale programmes within financial services.
  • Experience with understanding and translating complex business requirements.
  • Knowledge of Agile ways of working preferable. Comfortable working with ambiguity and in an environment where priorities change constantly.
  • Demonstrable experience of in problem management and resolution and in being a resilient self-starter.
  • Collaborative analyst with demonstrable experience of engaging with business teams to drive change.
  • Exceptional networking and senior stakeholder management skills. Comfortable to challenge senior stakeholders across multiple functions.
  • Able to adapt and reprioritise quickly to ensure that any emerging risks are appropriately managed.
  • Continuous improvement mindset, able to maintain up to date understanding of industry best practices.
  • Able to work with a high degree of independence and exercise good judgement.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills, both verbal and written.
