This role is accountable for the delivery of a global projects portfolio including road map items once approved by the relevant forums. The programme manager will manage a team of project managers to successfully deliver the clients portfolio of projects within defined time frames and budgets.

Programme Manager - Product Delivery - Salesforce / CRM

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the execution of technical change to the Salesforce CRM platform:

  • Drive the delivery ongoing enhancements to the platform (from low level design, through build and test,) in line with agreed targets: time, quality, cost, value, and benefits.

Build Delivery Capability:

  • Recruit, retain and develop appropriately skilled resources required to deliver the Salesforce programme's 'BAU' and product road map engendering a delivery focused, high quality capability.

Define, Implement and Evolve Product Delivery Processes:

  • Ensure the right controls are set for acceptance into the product delivery team, focused on the handover from high-level solution and functional design.

Manage Third Parties:

  • Leads the engagement and be the primary reporting line for third parties involved in product delivery (e.g. Salesforce, Capgemini and other service integrators).
  • Ensures third parties have resource capacity to deliver against agreed plans and drives effectiveness and efficiency of delivery.

Build effective relationships with key stakeholders:

  • Engages upstream with Programme Delivery team (e.g., Architecture, Functional) to help shape key projects and provide inputs on cost estimation and delivery timescales.

Manages the core product delivery budget including third party spend for BAU and project (CAPEX) delivery.

Skills/Experience:

Must have:

  • Significant relevant experience in programme management and Salesforce delivery.
  • Team Leadership experience within a matrix environment.
  • Experience of working with multiple third parties to deliver significant change initiatives.
  • People management skills (of 4+ people).
  • Problem solving and working with challenging timelines.
  • Strong communication & decision making skills (manage by discretion, manage by exception, escalation).

Job Offer

Salary Range up to £85k + Car/Cash Allowance, Bonus, and Company benefits.
