Description

• Accountable for delivering world class standard costs, quality & Delivery
• Accountable for delivering world class levels of Health & Safety
• Accountable for setting operational objectives in accordance with business plan and targets
• Responsible for compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental and quality standards
• Overall accountability for operational performance to Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators
• Monitoring performance through operational reviews and audits
• Overall accountability for compliance with legal and ethical people management practice
• Responsible for effective two-way communication processes with team, customer and suppliers
• Respond to incident management and escalations and deal with effectively
• Ensure that resource skills and levels are consistent with medium and long-term business plans
• Defining and introducing a positive culture site wide
• Building and sustaining a highly engaged, customer focused workface

Profile

• Experience at operating at a senior level within a fast paced 3PL environment.
• Demonstrable proven experience of managing large teams (1000+).
• Proven ability in implementing operational change projects at a fast pace
• Ability to work under pressure in a challenging and constantly changing environment
• Good commercial management is required to ensure financial success.
• Ability to demonstrate creative, fast paced thinking to stay ahead of a very fast paced and demanding customer
• Clear leadership skills, energy and passion.
• Proven effective relationships with client / customer
• Experience of working within a matrix style organisation
• Confident in influencing and negotiating.
• New start-up experience
