Description

To acquire by purchase, lease or licence any interests in any land and property.
To dispose of any interest in any land and property by sale, lease or licence.
To manage the Commercial Investment portfolio and advise on appropriate strategies for the effective asset management of the portfolio.
To advise on rent reviews, lease renewals, dilapidation's and disputes connected to the portfolio.
To provide property management and valuation advice on the certification of valuations including those for Right to Buy properties on behalf of the organisation including signing off delegations as appropriate.
To assist in the preparation and maintenance of the Property Asset Register and undertake periodic asset revaluations.
To provide advice on estate and property management issues as and when required.
To lead strategic projects in relation to land and property assets.

Profile

Membership of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors ideally

Degree, or equivalent qualification required

Accredited as a Registered Valuer desirable

Experience of managing a Commercial Investment Portfolio within a large public sector organisation desirable

Experience of assisting in the production of Property Asset Registers

Up-to-date knowledge on the certification of Red Book valuations

Job Offer

Salary up to £50k depending upon experience
