Our plc client, a long-established British multinational company, is the world’s largest manufacturer and distributor to the clothing industry, in its broadest scope. They provide both products and services and they operate in over 50 countries across 6 continents.
As they continue to acquire new businesses globally, they are now looking to review all their IT needs across this rapidly changing landscape. As they think ‘bigger picture’ one major option for them is to outsource IT but there is not currently the internal expertise to lead and implement such an option. Some medium-term internal changes within the business present an opportunity to drive this initiative afresh, from inception to implementation, right across their business. Whilst initially a 12-month interim need, this could become a permanent appointment as internal changes take effect and the scale of the requirement becomes more clear.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to evidence the following:
- Senior-level IT Director/CEO within an international business where IT systems have been disparate
- Experience of leading cross-business (international) reviews of IT capability and future needs and recommending future strategy
- Knowledge of and experience implementing complete IT outsourcing programmes from inception to full, multi-jurisdiction delivery
- Strong programme director skills
- Manufacturing sector (or transferrable) experience preferred
- Able to start within 4 to 6 weeks
If you can tick the above boxes then please apply, supported by a brief summary of your relevance to the role and indication of day rate, by Friday 7th October but don’t delay as the shortlisting process will commence immediately.
