Working alongside the senior stakeholders, the Finance Director will not only be an exceptional accountant and hands-on with company finances but will also be commercially aware, advising on the best path of growth for the business.
What are we looking for?
As a Finance Director you will lead all aspects of the Finance function from Statutory reporting, cash management, KPI reporting and FP&A.

Your Responsibilities
Business Partnering and decision support - 30%
Pricing strategy (margin v growth)
Scale up planning
Develop strong trusted relationship across management team to understand the business end to end
Team leadership - 10%
Management of the financial controller and accounts assistant, with team growth expected over the next 18 months
Monthly process - 20%
Accruals / Prepayments
Journal entries
Support invoice creation
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable
Monthly pack creation and presentation
Funding Strategy - 10%
Cash management
External review of ongoing funding options with owners / MD
Statutory reporting - 10%
Month end close
Year end close
HMRC reporting
Forecasting and budgeting - 20%
Annual 5 year plans
Monthly forecasts
Cash managementEssential Skills & Experience
Qualified Accountant
Commercial experience in decision support at board level
Deadline management
Experience in strategic planning, analysis and scenario creations
