My client is at the very heart of the war on climate change. Working with companies, cities and states across the globe, they challenge us all to make the right choices today to build a sustainable and thriving world for tomorrow.

With such global ambitions, they are looking to recruit an interim Head of Finance that can support with a back-office transformation project, to allow this growing organisation to reach its full potential.

Key responsibilities:

Lead on the back-office transformation plan, ensuring finance is a critical and outward facing business partner,
Ensuring full compliance with all statutory and external requirements and regulations.
Working within the international network, contribute to global reporting, effective & efficient working practices, assurance and decision making.
Lead, develop and support a finance team of 10.

The successful candidate will be a fully qualified accountant with a track record of working in a complex and/ or global business. Although previous experience of working within the third sector is not essential, a passion for the cause and appreciation of the business drivers is required. With a commitment to excellence, you will be very comfortable with change and have previous experience of working on transformation projects.

With offices based in London, my client is currently following a hybrid home/office working policy. This role has been assessed as inside of IR35.
