Michael Page Logistics are looking to recruit an Operations Director for our client in the Southern Home Counties.
Client Details
Our client is a very successful SME who offer supplies and services to the Healthcare sector.
Description
In the role of Operations Director you will be responsible for:
- Providing strategy and leading to all areas of operations including warehouse, transport and 3PL Management
- Implementation of company processes and KPIs to maintain and improve SLA's
- Health and safety policy and practices overhaul to best in class
- On time in full customer delivery performance
- Optimisation and utilisation of the WMS and other in-house systems
- Undertake ad hoc projects to identify and drive out excess costs within the business
Profile
The successful person will be proactive and prepared to challenge the status quo, contributing to the future of the business. They will have a proven track record in Logistics and Distribution either as an established Director or someone who is working towards this level. They must have a strong financial understanding and a record of budgetary control contributing to the overall P&L of the business.
