This full-time Solution Architect role comes with an excellent salary of £80,000-£90,000 and a fantastic benefits package.

As a flexible Solution Architect - Digital & Data Transformation, you will be part of a forward-thinking and innovative team currently guiding a global digital transformation. You will have a passion for solving complex problems and developing digital solutions that combine rich data with advanced technology to deliver insight at the point of interaction.

In your first few weeks in this Solution Architect job, you can expect to:

  • Design and support the implementation of solution architecture across various data applications
  • Work with technical teams, businesses and end-users to design data warehouse, data lake and web applications
  • Direct the analysis and documentation of the current application and integration landscapes, creating future state architectures and roadmaps
  • Create and manage architecture artefacts and lower-level components
  • Provide technical expertise to design scalable ETL, data lake and data warehouse solutions, including addressing and resolving complex technical issues

To apply for this Solution Architect - Digital & Data Transformation role, you will need a Bachelor's degree qualification with an impressive quantitative background (STEM education background in science, technology, engineering and mathematics), or an MBA is preferred. You will also require familiarity with cloud architecture and 8+ years of experience in programming and analytics languages, preferably Python. Additional requirements include:

  • 5+ years of expertise in AWS/Azure data services, preferably AWS Glue
  • 5+ years of experience in analytical tools, including Power BI or Tableau, Esri ArcGIS is desirable
  • 5+ years of database architecture expertise with a relational database, preferably Postgres
  • 3+ years of experience in ELT, ETL, and data integration tools, preferably SnapLogic / Informatica
  • 3+ years of data warehouse experience, preferably on Snowflake
