Our client is a British Multinational, leading in Fast Moving Consumer Goods with headquarters in London
They are seeking a Contract Data Analyst (Power BI) - FMCG to support with maternity cover for their existing Global Plastic Packaging Reporting Manager.
Description
As the Contract Data Analyst (Power BI) - FMCG, you will be responsible for:
- Delivering, enhancing, and extending plastic packaging metrics (data, systems, and analytics) for internal and external reporting through a direct report as well as extended teams across the business
- Identify key drivers of change and strategic opportunity areas for plastic packaging recyclability, virgin plastic reduction, and post-consumer recycled plastic, and related KPIs for internal and external strategy and communication
- Driving a mindset of sustainable product design throughout the business by maintaining dashboards to share information on the impact of our plastic packaging
Profile
The successful Contract Data Analyst (Power BI) - FMCG will have:
Experience in leading virtual teams (people who are in a different location, do not report into you and may be at a higher work level) across functions (e.g. R&D and Supply Chain)
Strong bias for action; ability to work independently and proactively, identify next steps to get the data generation, insights and reporting process to the next level
Strong organisational awareness and applying that awareness to resolving issues with data & systems as well as resources outside the direct influence of the team
- Fluent in English language
Experienced in Microsoft Office suite especially excel

Job Offer
This role is a 4 Month Contract, offering day rate (Inside IR35), flexible working (2 days on site to begin with/ Tuesday - Thursday) based in the City of London with immediate start (pending checks and on-boarding)
Supported by a team of five data operations assistants, one Data Analyst in team and one business analyst consultant. No line managerial responsibilities. Role can be remote, but preferable if can meet in London office with Senior Manager a couple of times a week.
