Maxegan Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Technology Director to join an exciting, rapidly growing business.

My client is a leader in their field and a pioneer with their unique digital supply chain system and platform that currently partners with many major, global businesses.

Within the role, you will be responsible for defining and owing a scalable and resilient technology strategy. You will build and lead the technology team to solve complex problems using a selection of technologies and ensure the product delivers a highly valuable, automated, easy to implement, ground-breaking digital experience to customers.

Four key components of responsibility will be tech leadership, stakeholder management, people management and the product strategy.

For this opportunity, you will need:

• Proven experience in a leading and managing teams of architects and software developers in a DevOps environment
• Professional experience in the building and scaling of complex cloud-based solutions applications
• Experience in software development, including leading teams on cloud-based and/or scalable digital solutions, builds for mobile, web and Back End
• Hands-on experience with one or more Python, NodeJS, GoLang, Java or C# based technologies
• Understanding of Front End technologies like ReactJS, Angular or Vue JS
• Understanding of cloud-based systems based on AWS, GCP or Ms Azure
• A keen interest in mentoring/developing those around you and fostering an office environment defined by clear, open communication
• Strong planning, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• The ability to assess and evaluate the risk to balance pace with quality product delivery
• The ability to quickly learn and understand new business environments
• The ability to lead and inspire teams of people from disparate backgrounds
• The ability to manage multiple tasks/projects, work under pressure and meet agreed deadlines
