SALARY - 68k basic

ROLE: My client are a prestigious membership charity and they have an exciting opportunity to join them as Head of Change. You will lead develop, embed and continually improve the people, processes and tools that deliver business change across the organisation. The Head of Operational Change leads the Operational Change (PMO) function and ensures supports successful project delivery by measuring and managing all business change activity to ensure all initiatives, projects and programmes are delivered in a controlled way

The Head of Operational Change has oversight of the entire change portfolio and records, manages & mitigates risks and issues, captures assumptions &dependencies and tracks all decisions made and is responsible for effective resource scheduling across the Technology Department, liaising with the Head of Technology Operations and other functional leads as required

EXPERIENCE:

  • Proven track record of leading and developing teams
  • Experience of establishing a successful Change function as a Centre of Excellence
  • Experience of negotiating and establishing partnerships with key 3rd parties
  • Experience of Waterfall, Agile, SCRUM & DevOps methodologies and working practises
  • Experience of developing, implementing and operating governance controls and processes
  • Experience of managing and developing key stakeholder relationships with senior management, peers and external parties where appropriate
  • Experience of leading and contributing to large scale transformation projects
  • Experience of successfully planning and managing budgets and resources
  • Ability to demonstrate strategic thinking
  • Experience of managing project planning approaches, monitoring and control and risk management techniques, and to align change to corporate objectives
  • Holder of a recognised change management qualification - eg MSP; PRINCE2; AgilePM/DSDM Atern etc
  • Ability to operate under pressure and scrutiny and manage multiple projects and priorities at once
  • Ability to influence
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Experience of working with senior executives and Boards is desirable
