Client Details

A leading global supplier of high-quality specialist materials who have recently become PE backed are embarking on an ambitious growth strategy with organic growth and acquisitions a key part of the plan.

To support this expansion my client is looking to recruit an experienced Chief Commercial Officer / Marketing & Sales Director to focus on strategic planning, customer development, marketing, branding, partnerships and sales. As a key member of the executive team, you will execute the current corporate strategic plan, focussing on expansion to new customer segments and partnerships whilst strengthening sales operations throughout the UK and global markets.

Description

  • Develop, implement and manage the revenue generation strategy including marketing, PR and sales.
  • Develop a strategy for the Region and all sub-territories in line with Group strategy.
  • Plan, implement and manage marketing and lead generation campaigns and measure results to drive active commercial growth.
  • Drive sales forecasting activities, targets, sectors, markets, territories and set performance goals to achieve company objectives.
  • Train, mentor and develop the marketing and sales departments/teams across EMEA.
  • Develop and manage marketing campaigns and initiatives within agreed levels and ROI.
  • Proactively manage distributors, recruiting, developing, and terminating where necessary in line with plan for the territory.
  • Undertake frequent international travel to attend meetings with prospective new customers together with site visits, exhibitions, and events.
  • Regularly report to the Board and actively participate in the wider success if the Group as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Liaise and work closely with digital marketing and PR agencies.

Profile

  • Wealth of commercial leadership experience in diverse roles, driving and implementing revenue growth.
  • Broad experience in a product multi-channel BtoB and B2C environment ideally within a high SKU product/materials supply environment - but not essential.
  • Proven track record of growing revenue through new product development, marketing, branding and partnerships across UK and international markets.
  • Ability to develop, manage and implement strategy and plans globally.
  • Experience of managing sales, marketing, digital and ecommerce teams.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing business strategy.
  • Significant general management and P&L experience.
  • Ability to craft and execute a business strategy.
  • History of decision making based on analytics and business metrics.
  • Inspirational leadership style and hands-on approach,
  • Knowledge and applications of a wide range of marketing and sales techniques and concepts. Enthusiastic and creative with strong organisational and planning skills.

Job Offer
