Description

• Participate and guide the team in estimating work necessary to realise a story/requirement through the delivery life cycle.
• Code solutions and unit tests to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.
• Utilise multiple architectural components (across data, application, and business) in the design and development of client requirements.
• Design/develop/modify architecture components, application interfaces, and solution enablers while ensuring principal architecture integrity is maintained.
• Design/develop/maintain automated test suites (integration, regression, performance).
• Mentor other software engineers and coached the team on Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) practices and automating tool stack.
• Be a strong technologist who is inquisitive and has a desire to learn.

Profile

• Excellent Java development experience - Good knowledge of core Java, JEE & in particular JMS, Spring - particularly SpringMVC, SpringBoot, REST
• Experience with Oracle DB - PLSQL Scripting.
• Extensive experience with Agile/SCRUM Programming project methodologies.
• Experience in working with colleagues in other (global) locations.
• Ability to seek out information with little direction.
