Head of Business Systems / Applications - £120K - £135K + 40% Bonus & Bens - Hybrid

Overview:
An excellent opportunity has arisen with our client, a financial services company on the FTSE 250 index who are embarking on a number of exciting, IT focussed, change programmes. We are seeking a Head of Business Systems to support the transformation of the businesses capabilities to help grow and thrive in a digitised-based future. Our client have a flexible approach to home working but will require weekly trips to the Reigate or London offices.

Role & Responsibilities:

Develop strategies and evaluate technical solutions for the group's back office systems, including CRM and Omnichannel platforms, measurement tools and other digital experience technology platforms
Own and manage the digital solutions, products and services that are required to build customer focused experiences across business agile teams, journeys, and regions to achieve business needs and digital goals
Partner with teams leading the development of digital experiences to ensure technology solutions support customer experience journeys
Build strong relationships with product/proposition, change, marketing and shared service teams to understand communications experience use cases and deploy CRM tools to deliver world-class targeting communications
Lead and grow a group of CRM value stream Experts and Product / Audience/ Journey Stage* Owners
Ensure designs and roadmaps that support initiates related to your role are in place to maintain all Corporate Systems, Cloud Solutions, RPA, Platforms, Infrastructure, Applications, Networks and Tools
Evolution of people, process and tools to meet customer demands and ability to scale
Management of 3rd party suppliers, including regular reviews on SLA performance and contract negotiations
Liaising across the business to ensure risks are identified and managed effectively
Implement measurement procedures (KPI, metrics) to assess and track exposure, risks and effectiveness of Infrastructure services.
Essential Skills and Experience:

Ten years of experience in operating within a corporate environment, with a track record of delivering responsive, high-quality services and of assuming increasing responsibility
A broad range of practical Solutions Architecture experience ideally spanning Cloud, Microservices, Security, SaaS, Mobile, and/or Data
Experienced leading architectural teams
A strong practical knowledge of working with DevOps frameworks and Agile methodologies
Solid knowledge of and ability to apply advanced Agile Architecture principles, theories, design patterns, concepts, and techniques.
Experience of driving architectural transforming large-scale services, operations, applications & infrastructures 1000+ users
Experience of Global Vendor Management - ability to build long term strategic relationships
Experience working within a complex organisation, managing geographically distributed resource across an offshore/onshore model
Demonstrated deep understanding in Engineering, Managed Services, Cloud Operations & Services, Transformation Management Technology Operations, Infrastructure, Applications and Service Management (ITSM/ITIL), including formal awareness of ITSM processes
Proven ability to think both strategically as well as tactically
Package:

Up to £135K basic
40% annual bonus
Location: Hybrid / London / Reigate (1 X per week in office)
25 days leave + bank holidays (holiday buying scheme)
