A well-established business is looking for a Head of Platform Engineering to join its team on an initial 3 month contract. Please note this role is 'Outside IR35' and entirely remote.

You will be responsible for managing a team of 6 Cloud platform engineers using Azure and AWS. You will also act as the cloud platform product owner to ensure that there is a defined and clean backlog. You will need to have demonstrable experience of transforming teams to scrum/sprint based delivery and establishing solid reporting metrics that illustrate team performance.

In order to be suitable for this role you must have experience of managing a Cloud platform environment, coupled with the hands-on cloud skills, particularly in Azure, that will enable you to provide technical oversight. In addition to this you will have proven experience working in an agile scrum environment and possess the strategic and project management skills required to ensure operational efficiency.
